Intent:

• The RSHE curriculum at JMA aims to holistically develop our students in all years which will allow the pupils at JMA to become well-rounded and retain the skills learnt in order to tackle any scenario. The students will develop skills; leadership, empathy, forming and articulating viewpoints, decision-making, communication.
• The JMA curriculum focuses on relationships, well-being, the world around me and CIAG as a spiral curriculum which students build on through KS3-KS5. These strands will be built upon year by year so that pupils have solid foundations that should provide each of them with a life-long service of skills to use. The curriculum has been developed to incorporate all underpinning national curriculum values of SMSC, RSE, Citizenship and British Values.
