Intent

To create confident and critical learners, who support their views with conviction and demonstrate a keen desire to understand past societies and the impact that they have on our current society.

They will achieve this by:

• Using a variety of Historical skills, from explanation and evaluation, to source and interpretation analysis
• Studying a wide variety of medieval, early modern and modern subjects, across both British and world History
• Building a chronological view of historical themes, such as power & authority, technology and wars.
