Intent

To create confident and critical learners, who support their views with conviction and demonstrate a keen desire to understand the world around them.

They will achieve this by:

• Developing an understanding of physical geography, such as ecosystems, coastal processes and extreme climate
• Developing an understanding of human Geography and how societies have developed differently around the world
• Being able to explain how human and physical Geography interact and evaluate the impact of humans on nature
• Using a variety of skills, including source and data analysis, as well as map skills and field work
