Shandon Baptiste earns Grenada Call Up

Graduate Shandon Baptiste, now professional at Oxford United FC in League One, was called up to represent Grenada in a World Cup Qualifier v Panama last month where he made his debut. He then scored the opening goal and his first senior professional goal against Trinidad & Tobago on 12th November.

Shandon also recently made his professional debut for Oxford United in a 6-1 win over Stevenage and was named on the bench v MK Dons only last week.

Director of Football Michael said “We are all extremely excited to follow Shandon’s journey. He is not only a fantastic talent but also a great person as well and we all hope to see his success continue. He has a really tough time with 2 serious injuries and an operation last season so it is great to see his perseverance paying off”
